Epic Journey: Part 17

I have recently had help focusing... I have a clearer vision of what my path should be. I have decided that Editorial Photography by assignment sounds like fun! At least for a while... The kind of thing where I take pictures of an event or something and then maybe write the story, too! I really like the idea of being able to cover a broad spectrum of subjects while maintaining a sense of direction, maintaining a style ...doin my THANG! I'm going to try contacting some magazines and other photographers to see how I should go about that ^_^ OOOHHH!!! EXCITING!!!!

One other THANG I have decided I like doing is making little photography books. Two in the past 2 weeks! The first was FINALLY a compilation of my "Lost Soles" collection. It arrived today and I must say that it is a neat feeling to hold it in my hands in book form and see all my favorite pictures!

Then as an assignment for my Photo Essay class this quarter our final project had to be presented in book-form so..... It's called "Looking Through the Glass". The idea is loosely based on the Alice in Wonderland story. The difference is that it's not a mirror we're looking through, but instead the windows that people forget to close from time to time that affords us a tiny glimpse inside their worlds.

Epic Journey: Part 16

Taking breaks is good... Taking one giant one? Well, That just leaves more work for when break time is over. Break time is over - let the work begin!

To be honest, break time wasn't all sitting around watching daytime television and eating bonbons. I did a bunch of work!

There has been much cooking in my time away as well!

I got to help with a photo shoot - I needed to be a "Goth Chick". Did I do it right?

GORUCK started at 1am and lasted 12 hours over 20 miles. GORUCK 108 is hardcore!!
